Navigate to your exam appointment summary. Look for the exam you want to reschedule. You should see options to View, Reschedule, or Cancel your appointment. Select “Reschedule”.

🟢 COMPTIA & CISCO

Best flexibility! CompTIA and Cisco exams allow rescheduling up to the exam start time and during check-in.

• You can reschedule on exam day before the exam starts
• No penalty for last-minute changes
• Full refund if you cancel

Exams include: A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCNA 200-301, CCNP, DevNet, and all CompTIA and Cisco certifications.

🟢 AMAZON AWS

Great flexibility! AWS exams also allow rescheduling up to the exam start time.

• No penalty for last-minute changes
• Full refund available

Exams include: Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps, DevOps, Security Specialty, and all AWS certifications.

🔵 MICROSOFT EXAMS

Limited flexibility! Microsoft exams require rescheduling at least 24 hours before the exam start time.

• Reschedule up to 24 hours before exam
• Less than 24 hours = forfeited exam fee
• No refund for late cancellation

Exams include: AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-900, MD-102, SC-900, PL-900, and all Microsoft certifications.

❌ CANCELLING YOUR EXAM

Cancelling is different from rescheduling. When you cancel:

• You forfeit your exam slot entirely
• Refund policies vary by vendor
• You may lose your exam fee entirely
• You will need to rebook from scratch
• Some vendors charge cancellation fees

Always reschedule instead of cancel if you want to take the exam at a later date. Rescheduling preserves your exam fee.

• Get confirmation email after any change
• Save all confirmation emails as proof

❌ MISTAKE 1

Waiting too long. For Microsoft exams, waiting until the last minute means you lose your fee. Reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

Not reading the confirmation. Always check your confirmation email to ensure the new date and time are correct.

Ignoring time zones. Pearson VUE uses the time zone you selected during booking. Double-check before confirming your new slot.

Not saving confirmation. Always save your new confirmation email. You may need it if there are issues on exam day.

⏰ NO SHOW = LOST FEE

If you do not show up for your exam and have not rescheduled or cancelled, you are marked as a “no show”.

• You forfeit your entire exam fee
• No refund is given
• You must rebook and pay again
• Some vendors may have waiting periods

All vendors treat no-shows the same: you lose your money.
